About Me

i’m sarah… called sam (by some, at least)… i’m 20 and a yank lost in the south, at the moment.  i’m a student at clemson university, currently studying history and minoring in russian area studies; the plan is to transfer for fall 2008 to school that will actually allow me more focus on the area in which i’m interested (russia and slavic/eastern european countries).

i adore words, photographs, smiles, songs… good books, thoughtful poetry, truthful history, well-considered opinions, intelligent lyrics, and wonderful friends.  i’d love someday to run away to some obscure eastern european village and novel…

i dislike immensely narrow-mindedness, blind faith and the expectation that others share said blind faith, lack of consideration for other people, lack of compassion, fakeness, dishonesty, and lack of motivation.

i want to be beautiful some day.
